From the Merryl Webster dictionary: someone who boasts.
From the Merryl Webster dictionary (boasts): a statement expressing excessive pride in oneself: the act or an instance of boasting
So, this is one individual on the company (out of many) that apparently don't have much more to do other than sneak other's job. HIs stereotype is the typical technocrat: pot-bellied, bossy like posture, presumptuous. Never stop brow noosing other bosses, loves a political situation (corportate-wise), but hide himself in a pseudo technical expertise he don't have.
These folks need to be happier. I think they have to find a good purpose in their life other than harass other colleagues and play Technocrat. The things I most like is when, out of nowhere, someone show up spewing his/her opinions just like if would matter. Dude, if you don't want to contribute, please shut fuc* up. I don't need your self pride...
This tells so much about a company's culture... Looking for his boss, it would not be difficult to expect such behavior. His boss, by the way, was VP at Sun Microsystems and known to be the worst VP the company ever hired, but this is not the case. But the man keep finding a breach, during meetings, to tell everyone that "When he graduated at Carnegie Mellon"... Or even better, bragging about his other VP positions he had after he got fired from Sun (Ooops. VPs don't get fired. They decides themselves to move their career path...). What would you expect from his subordinates?
Please.... when this will end??? Totally tired of certain attitudes. I swear, if one day I manage to have my own company, this is will be the hiring policy #1: Brag too much, No thanks.
